Fair point, I probably shouldāve taken a look at the oem assembly before asking. No point in just getting a gate when the rod looks the way it does from factory. Looks like I may go the short shifter route afterall. Thank you for the reply
I guess the potential saving grace is that if this is related to the auto rev matching, then it sounds like a bug that could be fixed with a software update. Unless this is somehow expected behavior but I canāt think of why thatād be the case
If there isnāt one already, Iām planning on making a group chat on Instagram for the NC owners. Hit me up at @djs_supra and Iāll add you if youāre interested
I was very curious what the fenders would look like on my car, so thank you for sharing this. Very interested in seeing the final result once you paint and add the vinyl back
If a 3.0 MT is in the budget, I donāt think youāll regret it. Itāll be tough to get a test drive though, since basically all new ones are allocated but there are probably a few used ones at dealerships out there
Iād recommend asking the dealer to leave the protective plastic on and donāt wash it, so you can avoid having to get a paint correction before the PPF. Personally, I donāt think a correction is needed on a brand new car before getting PPF. Either way, congrats man, hope it comes soon!
Iām happy to see so many owners in NC. Iām in Morrisville, one road away from the Morrisville C&C. Hope to meet some of you guys there!
