  1. Battery Disconnect Switch

For me, I always use battery tenders on my hobby cars if parked for more than a couple of days, including my Supra. I frown at unplugging the battery as it can lead to weird problems with the electronics. Only time I unplugged the Supra was when I removed the airbag to install my 3D Design...
  2. Is supra your daily (or only) car?

So true. My dd is a Subaru (WRX and WRX STI) so they look sort of okay even if dirty. I installed clearbra on both and so far their paint are in great shape. My worry is more about vandals and bird crap while parked, but so far the garage structure with security seems to help while parked...
  3. Is supra your daily (or only) car?

Kind of a waste having all sorts of useful features on the car while she sits in the garage during the week day.. my daily driver don't have half of the amenities.. One day I might get that M240i AWD to replace my dd.. kind of butt ugly, but an AWD Supra kind of car is nice.. but low...
  4. MT revs upwards when hard driving in between shifts

Yeah, probably you. One needs to roll off the throttle even at WOT unless you powershift, or map the throttle for FFS.. not preaching or anything, just fact.
  5. GR Supra Floor Mats

That's good to know. I don't usually drive my Supra so next time I will see her cabin is Saturday.. well, given it doesn't rain.
  6. OEM Tire concern?

Tire psi? The tires can dry or rot over the winter depending on how you stored them. It might take a little re-breakin to get the surface cleaned up. Did you also note which corner the tires came off of and remounted them as they were? My car is on original 2020 tires.. they drive fine at...
  7. GR Supra Floor Mats

I donno man, they had the opportunity to fix it by following the red line..
  8. GR Supra Floor Mats

They don't reach the sides very well.. :hmm: like a size too small.
  9. Corner Balance ?

No fat chicks, car will go out of corner balance.
  10. Changed my cabin air filter today... 😳🤬😳

Yikes.. sounds like when wiring stuff up behind the steering column. I have to be on my back with my head on the floor, otherwise I just don't bend the way some folks do.. o_O I'm still at 4K+ miles after 4 yrs ownership, so a few years out.
  11. Supra vs 18 wheeler

Sorry to see OP. 😢 Hope you get that fixed soon!
  12. Custom Airbag Covers

So the thing flys into your face when the airbag deploys.. nice.
  13. How Much A 1-Year-Old Toyota Supra Is Worth Today

Aren't those the same guys that criticized the Supra at launch?
  14. Another tire post lol

    Mine are black and round.
  15. GR Supra Floor Mats

Yeah, WeatherTech is great on daily drivers like my Subaru's but on a hobby car like the Supra I too much prefer carpet mats. Most times WeatherTech's cover up the dead pedal (as it should for protection) but when I got a nice OEM looking dead pedal on the Supra, why ruin the look by covering...
  16. Best way to keep pests out of your car?

I don't have issue with my parked cars, but I have squirrels digging holes in the dirt right up against the foundation of my house so I toss dried spent coffee grounds where they usually appear. They seem to hate the smell of coffee and never come back.. well, until the smell of coffee...
  17. Maxton Design Side Skirt Rocker Trim

I'm not sure that double sided tape is going to hold.. unless you have a jack or something putting pressure on the adhesive for over 24hours constantly while it cures. Even if you used a few screws, it will be night/day different in how secure it is on the car long term. No one asked, but I...
  18. PSA: 6MT owners remove your CDV

Chances are you folks are not applying sufficient light throttle while engaging the clutch, just enough to support the flywheel's momentum while the rpm is dropping. I've read about something very similar in Golf-R forums where they removed the little valve thing (and BESTEST MOD EVAR!), but my...
  19. Are stock intakes better than cold air intakes?

The Eventuri is nice. My GR has their engine cover too for extra bling. I've seen some idiots wash the dry filters with water and oil them on YT.. If anyone lost power due to running Eventuri, chances are its is because they are dumb.
  20. Dissimilar metal corrosion?

The flange usually has replaceable gaskets and the entire exhaust hangs on rubber hangers.. the only other metal contact I could think of are the nuts and bolts and those can be replaced, I believe.. so nothing permanent to worry about?
