How is 70k a bad deal for a Z4 6MT when the MT Supra with the last gen interior and no convertible top is 60+ now?
+10k for a modern interior and automatic roof seems reasonable to me :dunno: Aren't base model 2.0 718s the same price?
Has anyone actually figured out what the failure mode is?
I still have zero slip on an early 2023 car that makes well over factory torque. Whereas on my GTI, as soon as I went above stock torque, the clutch was toast.
Seems like its not really a clutch material/clamp force issue like that car...
I drove my car pretty hard thru the winter months in the 40s and killed the rear PSS w/ <5k miles on the car 😆 woops
definitely learned that they don't quite hold up in the cold.
Nice kill!! That's before we even finish getting it dialed in! We would need to re-do duty bias and FF for the new DP, but shouldn't be too many revisions to finish.
Yeah just to add to this since the thread has been bumped:
MT cars are generally no problem to tune anymore. Have done 6-7 cars in the last month or so. The MT firmware and low WGDC method has worked well. Still not as easy as an AT car, but seems fairly repeatable.
Thanks @RyanA90 for...
It is high flow catted. Catless have slightly different FF and duty bias. On 91/E25
Plotted: ECU_PSI vs Boost (essentially your entire JB4 power gains - provided that timing stays up - shown purple)
Baseline run - choppy boost and throttle.
After MT firmware and tuning:
It only took a...
Mine is same issue, just on one end is very slightly lifted right at the tip. The gap is no more than the command tape thickness so it is hardly noticeable. Probably to no one other than me.
Its probably not due to the E since your trims are generally under 40.
Here's your recent log (with wheelspin - another would help):
I can see that ECU PSI is currently about 1.5-2psi under DME BT, but with a smooth boost curve and good timing. so you can up FF a couple before your car will...
McLaren is the real deal. I'm so excited to see them take it to RB, though I've been a Max fan for 8 years 😂
Norris and Piastri are top tier.
As most know, Redbull hardly gets any dev / wind tunnel time compared to others, so its no surprise to see the catch-up.
M2 Comp was the most fun M car of the whole lineup that I tried on track. Just drive them both and find out. They are both excellent drivers cars.
The MT Supra was the obvious choice for me because I have a daily and don't need back seats or space. B58 was more appealing to me than S55 for long...
I think with the EOS one, it sits a little farther back which I really like. There is no break at all between the curve of the hatch and the spoiler. It's like an extension of the bodywork.
@mustafazumit's car finished - as a follow up to discussion above

dudes, this is like the best JB4-Meth combo deal I've seen, GLWS.
$400 to have 500whp+ on a locked ECU car, it could not be any easier (well, throw in a $300 charge pipe)
Mine is the EOS one, 8/10 fitment, 10/10 price. think it was ~$250

unfortunately sold out at the moment
It does look great without a spoiler, but for me I have no regrets at all with the A91 rep. Its somewhat minimalist compared to most offerings. Follows the lines of the trunk much better imo.
It does impact rear vis a bit more than I expected though. Used to it now.
