Get some BMW HT-12 (green) coolant and mix 50/50 with distilled water to top it off. I had the same thing happen last year, and haven't found any leaks or had an issue after filling it back to max.
Clean that filthy engine cover while you're at it OP lol
With the white car you can get away with doing a lot of bold colors, so my vote is a bright yellow or orange if you want to do something different.
I have a 3.0 base as well but my car is red, so I'm going to either do a black or white (or just stay silver).
That's cool to hear it handles ok after alignment. I may consider doing this too, I was hesitant about lowering the car after seeing how much it squats under acceleration on the dyno with stock suspension.
Right doing the Femto route and getting a custom tune would be the next step as far as making more power. You can do a cat-back exhaust if you want to change up the sound but don't expect it to add any noticeable hp/tq.
I went to Vortex Motorsport to do an alignment and had a good experience. They are mainly a Porsche specialist but also do work on other vehicles, so could be worth checking out for that.
I haven't had a lot of mods installed yet so don't have a go to shop in the area yet.
Yeah that's a weird message to include. I don't think Armytrix or any company that has a DP with cat simulator guarantees no check engine light lol.
I checked to see if they still have the Armytrix catback exhaust and that's no longer on their store either... think you're on to something.
Can they? yes. Should you fit them? Probably not at least for street driving - 305 is too wide for a 10" wheel. From what I've read and heard people have had some strange and bad symptoms from running 305 and wider on the stock wheels. I would just stick with the 285/35/19 size for the 555rii.
Just had mine replaced in December, I think with any car that has auto cruise control etc they supposedly have to do that. The only other thing they will do is reset DTC for codes that come up after the replacement so nothing that will mess with your ECU or any other car settings
Right now I'm running Nitto NT555rii in the rear (285/35/19) and the oem Michelin PSS in the front since I still have the stock wheels. I got the Nittos after being tuned for e50/flex fuel and they put down the power well. So far they've been fine in the rain too, but obviously I'm not driving...
Yeah Subarus in general do really well in crashes. The newer gens of the WRX/Sti are still like that too, I've seen people post some nasty accidents where they came out (mostly) un-injured.
Wasn't sure how the Supra would do flipping, how nice of this dingus to test it for us.
Agreed, it was just an irresponsible maneuver. If they spent any time learning the car and had any common sense that would've been avoided.
Personally I won't do a pull with traffic around me, even though with my tire and alignment setup I'm confident it will hook in good conditions. It comes...
