No, they fitted the 8" track version... he comments that the 8" version is only rated up to 1320nm vs. the 10" track version being rated at 2000nm. ~6 min in on that video. I can see how it could be confusing however. There are 2-3 versions at each size, the difference being materials and...
While they don't make one that's exactly for it (guessing it would be about a 9" assembly) and the 10" standard won't fit the bell housing... they do make an 8" version which does fit. Same guys ran both the Sport and Track version of it.
Just basic Murphy's Law - a screw will always seek out the newest and most expensive tire available. Not that I would ever recommend this for performance reasons... but if you put new Pirelli's on the front and some re-tread Generals on the rears - now you'll catch them in the fronts.
Same...
I find I'm that way with almost all tools... but yeah CNC and lathes are my go-to favorites. I admit it's at least 30% of the reason I plan on getting one myself (obviously making stuff is the rest, and just a 3A in my case). When I'm working, I often have YT in the background with one of the...
Possibly (at least in your opinion) but comparing short-term rentals to long-term investments is rarely straightforward. Most hotel rooms are better decorated than my bedroom... but I don't pay by the night. ;)
I'd recommend a nondescript van - even better if it has a handicapped license plate. You can move larger volumes and be far less memorable to witnesses. ;)
On the actual topic... it's such a specialized application that I think you'd either have to go with one of the off-the-shelf options...
Weird, and here I was surprised at how low-sodium most of the comments were considering context. Bring up Bose on an audiophile forum, Windows on a tech forum, or tell the Corvette guys you really love your new Mustang... then you'll really need to look for a safe space to assume the fetal...
Especially due to being "certified used" - you've got the warranty to deal with anything you find. With that few miles on it, there's no more risk of leaks, oil consumption, etc. than there would be with a brand new delivery... not enough miles to tell anyway.
Just check it well before you...
While I'm sure the "heritage" aspect played a part in the decision (and 9-figure contract), I like to think it was a more frivolous decision. I think he looked in his garage and said "I've got too many promo Mercedes already... I want some free Ferrari's in here as well."
Sure he can afford...
So with five-figures worth of aftermarket parts they're slightly faster than a Supra with a DP and an aggressive tune? Impressive.
Admittedly a very rough estimate, but their fuel pumps alone are $2300 on sale!
Also not helped in the photo because the airbag cover is slightly rotated off-center I believe. To me the stripe looks just fine if you're used to mentally "auto-correcting" barrel distortion from looking at photos all day long.
