The F87 M2 was more playful and has a bit more steering feel compared to the Supra. The power delivery was better up top for the S55.

I agree with you, had an auto Supra, then later bought a manual Supra and also took delivery of a new M2 (auto). Can't speak on the manual M2 but I also think the M2 is an overall better car than the Supra but the face of the M2 is quite ugly. Ended up selling both the manual Supra and the M2...

Both, started with an auto. I was worried at first because BMW manuals are rubbery but to my surprise, it's fantastic. It's like you're set up for an arranged marriage and you know the bride's family is all ugly but all of a sudden she's a beauty. The MT is fantastic.

I'm waiting for my M2 to arrive before I decide which car to keep/sell. It won't be a 1 for 1 since the Supra is MT and I ordered the M2 in auto.

Came back from the BMW dealer to finalize my M2 deal and the GM is 99.9% sure that it is coming. I asked if I could ignore the June/July delivery of the car to be first for the CS or Comp model but he's first in line followed by a Sales Manager lol...

I'm super paranoid about this stuff... Ever since my previous car got keyed and my other car was hit without any notice while parked. For nicer cars I will almost never park for too long and somewhat start getting anxious if cars are right up my ass. Gotta invest in a dashcam to capture...

@AJRMKV congrats on finally picking it up! Let us know if you experience any of the clutch issues while you break it in.

I'm heading to the BMW dealership tomorrow to take a look at the M2. I'm tempted to swap over because I realized I'm getting too old for low cars lol... Came home from the gym and pulled my back getting out of the car.

Mine is also scheduled to arrive at the end of this month, but I'm getting scared lol... More people are posting that their clutches are slipping and now apparently there's e-brake issues.

These clutch issues are starting to scare me... For the people who aren't having clutch issues, how hard do you drive the car? Track days? Spirited pulls every now and then?

Is anyone else worried about the clutch and power loss issues with the manuals? I'm tempted to wait to see what's in store for 2024 model year or get an M2.

I don't want to be the bearer of more bad news but if an allocation does come in, expect Country Hills to mark it up. They received a GR Corolla Core and marked it up to like 70+tax... Sad thing is that someone bought it...
