Hi peoples,

I finally got my car ready for the Dyno to get a custom tune after a lot of delays getting parts together.

My setup:

2022 Supra GR ZF 8speed.
New DAW UltraFlow X turbo.
CTS Catless downpipe.
FTP chargepipe.
AEM Meth kit (running 100% meth)
MST V2 intake (with larger cone filter by BMC)
BMS catch can.
XHP stage 3 transmission flash.
Stock fuel system
Stock catback exhaust.

I took my car to Sam Performance in Dubai tuned by Sam the owner. I couldn't recommend anywhere better to go, very nice workshop, professional people and Sam is a great tuner. Im extremely pleased with the results from his tunes. I opted for a pump map and pump/meth map.

The car made 524whp/505ftlbs on 93 pump. 24psi

604whp/548ftlbs on pump and meth. 28psi. The perfect power for a daily driven Supra. Plus these numbers were produced on the Dyno in 35-40C temperatures, so I'm positive it would make more in the winter.

I attach my dynograph.

From this data if I was running ethanol fuel and an aftermarket catback, it looks like the Ultraflow X turbo would easily hit 700whp plus.

I'm happy to hear your thoughts guys :)

Nice, you should make another 50whp on that turbo if you mimic my setup and use the same fuel/meth strength.

My tuner said I was limited to 28.5psi because of the stock catback producing higher back pressure, he said if I got an aftermarket catback I should see 30-32psi making another 30whp.

I'm happy with sticking to the stock system, I prefer the comfort of it in normal mode, quiet on the highway.

I don't have a dragy, but from other Supras with 600-630whp I should be in the 5.5-6.0 seconds 100-200.

Very nice! Iā€™m waiting on my DAW 6769 to deliver. AA DP, MADE single titanium exhaust, HKS intake. Plan to run flex tune (BM3) on stock fuel system. At least until I upgrade to built transmission.

I think if you want to run ethanol on the stock fuel system you'll be restricted to an E40 mix maximum and the appropriate boost level for that. If you want E50 plus with more boost you'll need a LPFP upgrade and port injection. The Stock fuel system is limited to around 700whp with a mild E mixture.

I think that's accurate but anyone feel free to chime in. :)

That is correct, which should be sufficient to getting the car to where Iā€™m limited by stock transmission. Will be upgrading LPFP and PI after I upgrade the transmission.

The DAW 6769 will make close to 700whp with an e40 blend on stock fueling? No LPFP or any other upgrades? Thatā€™s more than I thought it would!

Oh no no haha what I mean to say was I could probably get the car close to where it is limited by the capacity of the stock transmission on an e40 blend. That would be incredibly nice if it could get me to 700whp without upgrading the fuel system! Even still Iā€™d have to limit tq. Sorry for the confusion. I live in Houston, so Iā€™ll be taking the car to 5ive Performance. Will report back once I get it installed and tuned. Tbh Iā€™m less concerned with the numbers I make, and more interested on how the turbo will perform. I was actually wanting a 6466, but I was offered a new 6769 at a discount so I took it. Curious to see how it will spool and any noticeable lag on the streets.

It should make around 660-675whp on E40 with a stock fuel system depending on HPFP limits.

But if you upgrade the LPFP and install port injection you'll easily make 750whp on E40 with the 6769, assuming you were already running meth injection.

Ok I've driven 800 miles on my UltraFlow X turbo so far and it kicks in at 4000-4200rpm, the stock turbo used to kick in at 3500rpm, so the 6769 will spool in at 4700rpm at an educated guess. It's probably not the most street friendly drivable turbo, hence why i went a little smaller and took the X, because my power goal was 600-630 and still have a nice daily car.

Sorry to put a dampener on your choice but maybe you'll love the anticipation of the boost coming in later.
