Always an option. I know Rockford Fosgate makes some good 8" midbass speakers. If I just did the K2s up front, midbass and then sub.... would tuning even be all that necessary?
Would it be an issue just starting from scratch and using a 4" Focal K2 component set up front, quality 6x9s in the rear (in place of the factory 8" subs), a separate sub, and a DSP amp to tie them all together?
Gothy was an online user name I used for Battlefield back in my days of PC gaming. It was just a reference to me being very goth/emo in high school. The 666 part is an ode to one of my favorite HIM songs; "Your Sweet 666."

Interesting. Thanks for thr info. What 8" midbass drivers did you use? Did you need dedicated external crossovers for the 8" drivers, or were you able to use the high pass filters on the amp?
Really does look fantastic. I'm gearing up to do a full audio overall as well and will be using the Focal K2s up front. What are your thoughts on using the OEM sub locations for 6.5" coaxils to get a little more midbase without having to rely on the sub for frequencies lower than 200hz?
I installed these yesterday without any issue, except I too had to trim the the bottom standoffs for thr rear. No biggie, took 10 mins with a Dremel tool. Those rivet push pins are no joke though, I had to use a tiny hammer to get the pins to go in. 😄 Overall, very happy with the look and I...
I had been considering going this route for a while, but I'm going to just do a full system overhaul instead. $2500 is just too steep when you can have a much more powerful system for just a little over their asking price of $2500. I understand the tuning aspect and the time that goes into it...
