Personally I love the look of the 3D mats when new and the more premium textured material used over the industrial plastic weather-tech floor liners.

The downside imo with the 3 sets of 3D maxpider mats I’ve owned over the years…
the heal mat area of the floor mats separates or lifts with wear.

Not as durable as Weathertec which are almost indestructible, but way nicer. At the price point I don't mind changing every 3-4 years for a new set

They clearly realized there was a design issue to address it with a redesigned or optional heal pad (add $15). I encourage the change.
