hello there I'm about to change the spark plugs
I got confused they say that the supra has the second gen B58
and according to NGK, it uses the NGK 96206 (SILZKGR8E8S)
but I see people here running the NGK 94201 (SILZKGR8B8S)
which is the correct one?

I went with the 96206 for B58TU. People run the 96201 but thatā€™s whatā€™s recommended for gen 1 B58ā€™s.

Iā€™m running the 94201 spark plugs on the 2 port B58TƜ1 with no issues at all.

see that's what confuses me
and when I check NGK's recommendation for the 2 port it's still the same

You could ask ngk directly if they have a customer support.
Maybe they are both the same and they merged the products or itā€™s a new version.

I'll send them a message but I've checked there are differences in gapping and other stuff

Just got off the phone with ngk.
94201 and 96206 are nearly identical plugs. 96206 has less insulator showing, that's it.
93560 is 1 step colder and identical to 94201.
I don't think u could go wrong with any of the above.

93560 is 1 step colder and identical to 94201 but with .028 gap

94201- 0.30 gap
96206 - .031 gap 2mm added shielding
93560 - .028 gap 1 step colder

I installed the 96206 set about two months ago. Zero issues.

I forgot where I read this, but, apparently the 94201 is for the B58 Gen1. So I just went with the recommendation by NGK's application website chart above. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
