‘23 auto. I’m considering Bimmer Coding Sport Plus mode. Anybody else already done it. Pros / cons? Any noticeable difference in quicker shifting than regular Sport mode?

I added the sports plus when my car was stock and it didnt feel like the shifts were faster.. definitely got some more burbles and pops if you are into the flashy stuff

I coded Sport Plus into my MT. I took JB4 datalog in both the regular sport individual and then sport plus. absolutely no difference in the log, so don't expect power difference.

I didn't notice any sound or burble difference.

Sport plus does have slightly sharper pedal response though.

no cons really, other than having to now press the sport button twice to go back to normal mode.

I added it to my 2024 MT. We noticed a bit more burbles and pops.

Did you find quicker throttle response in deceleration, as I find on the MT, the rpm's stay too high for too long with quick shifts. Does it help with heel-toe?

Nah not really, doesn't reduce rev hang

If you're stock, throttle's going to be more sensitive and jerkier. If you floor it and let go, you'll hear a rapid/loudish burble. If you downshift at the highest RPM the car will allow, there will be no pops/burbles. At lower RPMs there will be more burbles. It's fun to use on backroads, but annoying on regular traffic since it's pretty jerky.
