~ I have the mix of both on mine. A lightly ghosted roundel in the backdrop. Makes it fun for the enthusiasts who have a keen eye.Why do i just want to put a BMW thing there and get it over with? LOL

Based upon your pictures, or maybe it's just how they turned out, it doesn't look like the clear is as good as what was applied to my AP badges. It almost look like a matte clear was used. Not a big deal if that's doesn't bother you but that would drive my OCD nuts.Just put these on and I think it made a huge difference. Got them from @juan_n_only_86. Color match is damn near perfect. And the emblem doesn’t show the backing plate like the American Panda ones do.
Since you asked...It'd be hilarious if someone were to swap in a Lexus badge.
Im doing that.
I'm not quite sure why the badge needs a solid coloured backing. Why not just the toyota emblem unbacked in matt black. Sure the tape on the back would be more complex to cut but you wouldn't have an issue with slight paint colour or finish disparity to worry about or the issue of the paint possibly fading at a different rate to the original.Just put these on and I think it made a huge difference. Pretty sure there’s weird holes or indents back there.I'm not quite sure why the badge needs a solid coloured backing. Why not just the toyota emblem unbacked in matt black. Oh ok, like alignment holes for the stock emblem?Pretty sure there’s weird holes or indents back there.
OP, the emblem looks great IMO. I’d like to see it in gloss to match the Supra emblem.
