Porsche Cayman, all day long. Lots to choose from at different price points and years. Anything 2010 and later would be the way to go, post IMS engines.

For me, the only two vehicles I wanted that fit my lifestyle were the GR-S(upra) and GR-C.

Because I tend to keep my vehicles at least 10 years, I knew these would be the two last vehicles for myself in the ICE generation.

If the GR-S or GR-C weren’t available, I probably would have went EV. (The new Prius and Ioniq I assume).

G87 M2 would be on my list but I know the supra has a better chassis and better feeling manual trans. Z4 M40 if auto ( z4 page has rumors of manual z4m40 coming but I doubt it) Emira is expensive, I have mine coming but idk if its worth not just spending 10k more and getting gt4 or boxter spyder (but that is 100k+) a used AMG GT is a good option in the 70's range but would want a warranty. the new Z is garbage so def not. on a used platform, maybe a clean 997.2 911.

That sucks, sounds like your OK and unfazed by the situation, so that's good.

If it were me, I would look for another MT of some sort, only purely for enjoyment, not DD status. Given what I'm willing to spend, I'd be looking for, in no particular order:

MKV Toyota Supra 6MT (of course 😂)
Corvette C6 z06 or zr1
Dodge Viper GTS (Gen 2, I had one before)
LSx swapped Mazda FD Rx-7 (I had one previously)
NA 3-rotor Mazda FD Rx-7
BMW G series M2/3/4 MT
BMW E46 M3 MT
997 series Porsche 911 MT

Glad you're OK and live to fight another day ✊

Unfortunately my 23 MT got totaled.
What car would you guys get if you didnt get the supra?

Im not sure if I would try to get another MT supra or go for a different manual car

Hmm…I can buy a Supra or a Prius. Tough decision. Said no one ever! 😂

If something happened to my Supra right now, I’d be really torn between a M4comp and a Merc AMG GTc (used of course) I still go back and forth about selling mine and buying either one now.
For me it’s the M4 comp x-drive and S550 AMG. I keep going back and forth…

Had a chance at a San Marino blue M4 CS in 2019 and I passed it up
If I could get another one for around 65$k with low miles and no mods that would be the right car
It's what the F8x should have been built like from the get go, but BMW took 6 years to perfect it

C7 'vette, lotus evora GT, or cayman GT4.
I too like the Lotus Evora GT but it is quite a bit more expensive than even a 45th anniversary Supra.
The other nice things about them is that they are fairly reliable and very rare.

The Supra right? Because the Lotus will be.. the polar opposite.

Porsche.

Before Supra, I had been looking at new NSX, GTR, GT350, ZL1 1LE, and used Porsche Turbo.
