I like how you said old and not 1 is more than 10 years old.

I'm just driving my 03 dodge ram.
2020 supra for fun days.

We get annoyed when people use hangars without having an airplane because most places have a wait list several years long. During that wait time your bird is sitting out in the elements slowly deteriorating. Airplanes don’t do well sitting outside in the elements, paint gets destroyed, corrosion, you go through lubrication within the flight controls and gear like crazy, working on it sucks without easy access to tools and materials, and preheating in the winter requires lugging a generator and extension cords.

Hangar homes are little different though but I can still see people being a little annoyed. Biggest reason is the HOAish fees at many of those communities cover airport maint, lighting systems, instrument approach systems, paint markers, etc. if you don’t have an airplane you might be the first to complain about having to pay for the upkeep of those services. It would be similar to buying a villa on a race track and then keeping a bicycle in the garage.
I figured it was my money, would be my house. If I had to pay maintenance fees, that goes with the territory. You have to pay to play. I'd rather pay maintenance fees for something that I don't use than have a shop off site.
For what it's worth, nobody mentioned me having to own a plane to buy the house. 🤷🏼

If it’s not in the laws it’s kinda fair game. That being said there are to many NIMBYs that are trying to close airports down after they move near one. Same with race tracks so I understand peoples concern. GA is already hurting/dying.

I feel that pain. One of my favorite tracks to go to, when I was a kid, got shut down because people started building houses way, way out in the boonies where the track was located.
It happens far too often. But, humans are a virus and we have to spread and consume everything beautiful along the way.. 😂

But after 20 years of just rotating Supras for my daily (I live rural, so no big distances or traffic) I finally bought myself a daily (525i auto - A bigger engine or manual trans and I'd need a new daily):

Some of these garages are as impressive as the vehicle selection. So sweet.

To the fellas joking they don’t belong or feel poor - me too, man. Me too. But all good fun and love seeing the variety.

I’m going to go shamefully degrease my floor and buff my tool boxes before getting the boot by these fancy cats.

I have a 2007 Z4 coupe and a 2002 M Roadster and both are fun to drive but not as fun as the 2023 Supra premium. Daily is a 2021 CRV hybrid and the wife has a Lexus RX 350.

How did your trade experience go? I have an LE and was considering trading for a MT but likely only an A91.

The supra is for winter track days and a spot of fun. The proper race car's below are for summer and compeitive racing.
