Place holder for my upcoming rear wing and all wing related parts.

This airfoil is unique to the automotive aftermarket and was developed by some brilliant minds to claim international and prestigious championships.

It was gifted to me by a dear friend on the development team after taking away the car specific secret sauce which won't work on another car anyhow.

No available wing on the market will outperform this

Bold claims. Look forward to the results. Is it also made in your closet?

Iā€™m already out, donā€™t worry. You should be happy someone is actually engaging in one of your threads for a change, amiright?

Look forward to this arts & crafts wing being ā€œbetter than anything currently outā€.

looks very close to selig s1223 at 60% thickness?
nope, def not it

there are thousands of airfoil profiles out there, this one exists on one specific program.

It's not pulled from a database like you're going to get from the other options

Full size wing airflow demonstration. Perfectly attached flow across the entire airfoil, I'll shoot another angle of video next time around

Bold claim. In what sense? Downforce x drag? At what size/chord length?
on track performance. CFD marketing is just blowing smoke (haha get it?)

this wing has won 24 hours of LeMans, GT3 class, etc šŸ¤·šŸæā€ā™‚ļø

Place marker for future wisecrack comment when stats are finally published.

you probably wouldn't understand that downforce made by a wing at speed changes based on car or even the baro. Twist, different aoa, uprights, position and distance off the car, wickers, even the rest of the car in front of it

a wing element shown in a brief snapshot in cfd does not reality make

those marketing tools you're used to seeing the last few years are just marketing

Cfd is a tool, not absolute

But yeah, working on the marketing smoke as I can šŸ¤·šŸæā€ā™‚ļø

Taking one aero element off of a GT3 class car and putting it on a road car isnā€™t gonna do it. The gt3 has more bodywork to increase its efficiency vs a road car, not to mention you need a front end package to balance it out.

Any sort of class racing will be limited to the rule set. Seeing that youā€™re using a GT3 class winning foil, itā€™s been a while but IIRC their wing box limited are somewhere around 300x1700. The average single element foil used in time attack is around 330-350mm.

Beating out outright larger wings which some have a 2D/3D hybrid profile (Voltex type 7esque). You got some work cut out for you with those claims. Interested to see what you come up with!
