The B58 is while an amazing engine found in many great platforms, its not perfect. The B58 suffers heavily from heatsoak and high IATs due to the intercooler of its A2W cooling system is located inside the intake manifold which is housed in the hot engine bay.


To combat this we introduce our Twisted Tuning Brisk-Box kit, which allows you to not only fill the intercooling system with 7 more gallons of fluid. But, also allows you to introduce ice to the system to dramatically lower air temperatures to the lowest point possible. Let's not worry about heatsoak anymore, Brisk-Box is here!

been sitting on it for some months, figured its time.

What pump you using? Any option for a slightly smaller tank or will it fit long ways aswell. Looks like there's enough room but not sure.

prototype was EMP, but wont be for the productions kits for public. it fits sideways. i chose centered for my OCD and balance of the car, and ease of battery access without removing the entire tank.

Looks like a Stewart EMP pump.

heat exchangers? no, not from me. that market is already taken, no sense in wasting R&D on that. at least right now. CSF and Mishimoto make the available heat exchangers

I meant as a package plug n play kinda deal. If the fittings, etc.. are all universal then I guess it doesn't matter as much.

How loud is the pump inside the car? Is there a drain?

FWIW, Ice boxes are typically race-car parts. Annoyingly loud noises are just race-car problems, and drivers don't care.

The PPE Ice box can be mounted where the passenger seat was, as an example of the type of car you'd put one of these in.

yes, works with stock intercooler. my car still uses stock intercooler until we finish our intake manifold.
i'll post a couple screenshots in a moment.

its not quiet, but not loud. i barely hear it over my exhaust while driving. But i am making something to quite it down for daily drivers.

depends on ambient and how long the car sits without moving.

Some data....


After about 30-40 min drive on an 80-85deg day. No ice in the tank.

5minutes After adding 3 normal bags of ice

Highway cruising before tank and after tank with no ice. IAT are more stable with the box, than without even on hotter days than when i took the no box logs
