HUGE THANK YOU to Terry at Burger
HUGE Shout out to Javi at Midnite Motorsports we did so many damn runs and logs today and he was awesome! Highly recommend.

I sent Terry a frantic message about the boost spike and we ended spending an hour on email going back and forth troubleshooting. There was a lot of flashes, reflashes, logs, etc.

Turns out there was an issue in The BEF Terry had to reverse the throttle change table and he sent me a new BEF and that cleared up all the weird stuff with drive ability and over boosting/spikes. THANK YOU TERRY!!!

He’s still doing some tweaks to throttle sensitivity and few things but he wanted to get the boost targets right first before making more BEF changes. He was kind enough to send me a MAP 6 custom tune to dial it in a bit further and this is where we ended up

https://datazap.me/u/phantomx2k/bef-jb4-map6-custom?log=0&data=1-4

Please forgive the 2/3 downshift I forgot to lock it in manual. I had done so many logs today I just whiffed. But you can follow the 3rd gear run and boost is now up to 21.-22 PSI

To compare to the Dyno run where we made 460/505 on Map 5 with no tweaks.
https://datazap.me/u/phantomx2k/bef-jb4-map5-dyno-run?log=0&data=1-4

Based on the map 6 stuff it looks to be a bit more boost, good afr, good trims a little timing pull but overall seems a little more power I imagine this would get closer to 470/480+ as Jesse was mentioning with higher boost. Seems about 2 PSI on average higher, what do you guys think?

If I can get on the dyno again tomorrow to verify I will but otherwise just a few minor tweaks more to settle it in. Very happy car feels like a monster.

FYI the MHD OTS E40 Stage 2 map is also super solid choice. Its’ very safe with a very solid and smooth graph and made 426/505

It seems the way to go is definitely either full Custom Map or this combo of MHD with BEF/JB4 Map 6 custom and wow it feels strong.

On a side note I ran across 316’s 2000hp Audi R8 V10 on the bridge today. If you want to get humbled quickly just try and run against one of those. I took the hit and then he disappeared into the next dimension 😳 he was super cool, car was running 12psi on twins and holy crap was it nasty.
based on that log, it looks like its the most powerful by a good bit. I bet 480 at least. Funny that you run into the one car on the road that can blow the doors of you. lol

He was really cool I took one look at the rear and the tires and thought “yea I got no chance” but he was cool and did a couple runs with me like a champ, he left so hard I thought I hit the brakes LOL.

Log looks much better after running the car as hard and as lean as the last log make sure you check those plugs.

Id say this is definitely a 20+HP jump over the dyno run for sure.

Easy enough to swap plugs for peice of mind. Should I do the 1 step colder Or just stock replacement?

Should I get the billet PCV setup or do I not need that yet? Javi mentioned the stock ones can pop under high boost But that may be like 25+. I gotta order the burger catch can as well.

I’m guessing i’m probably nearing the limit of the stock turbo, i’m sure Meth would help, then again so would a Pure 800

Stock turbo has a little headroom. Look at WGDC in the log. 100 is the maximum. Probably ~24psi

Not a Corvette.
Thinking about bumping up to e40 maybe e50 blend is the stock fuel system enough to handle it?
Yes, with no issue as long as you are smart about the boost curve tuning.

Here is my personal Supra with a Pure 700, E42 in this log and almost 28 psi out the top.

I have run up to E45, in warmer weather, the HPFP angle gets closer to maxing out at 126* but usually it's around 105-115*. 104* here in this log point

Damn 27 psi at redline, she is cookin:cool:

I was thinking these settings for @Phantomx. Small steps at a time as WGDC is already >90. Not much more boost to be had 6k+ on baby stock turbo.

@ColonelAdama

current duty bias at 6k 56 then 59 then 62.

current is 14/15/16/17 so maybe up 17 to 18? Lower duty bias to 53/56?

yea getting wheelspin traction control light and 3rd fear pulls is more a thing now

Just added settings to my previous post above. Yep, certain power level now requires 4th gear pulls 😆

Kick up your boost safety (failsafe) to 26 as well.

Ok so here are some logs @ColonelAdama

This one is based on the settings you Recommended. I was trying to view it in the car and I was seeing AFR’s were creeping up and Trims were getting into the high 40’s

https://datazap.me/u/phantomx2k/bef-jb4-ca-map6?log=0&data=1-4&hg=14-12-4-18-9

That kinda gave me a hmmm moment and with that much boost i backed it off a teensy bit. I put the duty bias back to where Terry had recommended and instead of 24’s I went to 23.5 down to 22.5 to 21.5. This seemed to get the AFR and trims behaving a bit better sticking trims in the 30’s with just a tick more timing (small tick)

https://datazap.me/u/phantomx2k/bef-jb4-tweakedmap6?log=0&data=1-4&hg=19-1-4-3-18-14

This run is the tweaked map 6 above but running through 3-5th gear and dear baby jesus 3rd tried to go sideways and it pulled like a tweaker on crack trying to catch his dealer I just can’t even imagine 600 or 700rwhp the car is freakin mental, 3rd really just wants to spin the tires.. To be fair it is excellent boost weather tonight 55* lower‘ish humidity.

https://datazap.me/u/phantomx2k/bef-jb4map6-tweaked?log=0&data=1-4-19

I do notice about 3900 as it’s building boost the AFR slips up to 15 but then it drops right now I see that in a lot of the logs this little AFR spike around 4k then it chills out. Not sure if that is normal or maybe bring 4k down to 17 again? Thoughts? Or just normal?

oh and for the guys wanting to run JB4 only MAP5 just keep a real close eye the backend helps so much. Before the backend flash my Trims were maxed out at 49, afr was up 14/15 and timing was all the way down to 9*, so not very healthy at all.
