Can you keep these tendered thru the 12V acc on the console?

There are charging adapters that you plug into the ā€œcigarette ā€œ 12v accessory power source that once attached to a smart battery tender can maintain the cars battery. I use them all the time.

Ugh...these things seem to be sold out everywhere.
Iā€™m definitely getting that PowerTex when they come back in stock. Iā€™d rather have it as a backup when the OEM finally dies. We usually only get 3-4 years out of batteries down here. Salt in the air, heat, humidity, who knows whyā€¦. Someone somewhere on this mighty forum posted a pic from his dealer that said to lock the car after every drive to save the battery. Canā€™t remember where I saw it. Anyway, yā€™all think thatā€™ll save some juice on this modern electronic vehicle?

You need a lithium specific tender
Iā€™m glad Iā€™ve got the battery tender that has the lithium button option. Who woulda thought that would come in handy someday, lol. Great advice as always amigo!

I use these adapters on my ohrvs all the time. They come straight from Battery Tender. They do work just trickle in current thru the 12V acc. Obviously it would be connected to a lithium tender.

Getting impatient waiting for these to come back in-stock.

Current best price I can find on the antigravity is $800-$850.

My OEM battery is actually going on 4 years old and still running strong. Not a hint of a fading battery.

I'd love to pick up a light weight one before I head to The Glen later this month.

I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever had a battery last over 4 years down here in hot šŸ„µ as Hades SWFL. Thatā€™s fantastic Wes! Iā€™m hoping if I trickle charge every now and then I can get a little more juice šŸ§ƒ out of all our cars/batteries šŸ¤ž

Not a Corvette.
Forgot to update this with fitment.

It fits perfectly in the Supra. No other hardware needed. There are three holes for the OEM bracket. For the OEM battery, it uses the far left threaded hole. For this battery I used the far right threaded hole.

You can see the holes on the left, under the ground cable in this photo:

Also, yes, the OEM battery is a chonky boi:

Any registering/coding required with the PowerTex or is it just plug&play?
